Welcome. Nordic Network in Dementia Diagnostics.
Information Sharing and Collaboration.

Welcome to the new website of the Nordic Network in Dementia Diagnostics (NIDD). The network was a Nor Forsk financed initiative of eight academic Memory Clinics in the Nordic countries and Lithuania. It was established in 2008 with a three year funding but during last years, the composition has changed and includes now nine academic Memory Clinics in the five Nordic countries. As the name indicates, the main objective of this network is to look into various aspects of the diagnostic procedures in dementia.

This is done by multicenter studies into novel diagnostic methods and by meetings, seminars and conferences targeted for the multiprofessional staff at Memory Clinics. During the Covid-19 pandemic, meetings have been virtual but with good attendance. It is our hope that this new homepage will proof useful for information sharing and as a tool for securing fruitful collaboration on the main theme of the network; how to diagnose and treat dementia which has become one of the major threats to the health of the ageing populations in our countries.
